Ashley previously served as a Police Officer and has a keen interest in keeping our streets safe and our town in a good clean condition for the general wellbeing of all.

In recent years he had discussed with local Police Chiefs and the Police Crime and Fire Commissioner and encouraged a further police presence around our town especially in relation to County lines and drug related crimes and seeks to improve this further over the coming years.

Ashley was re-elected to represent the residents of Chetwood & Collingwood Ward at Chelmsford City Council in the May 2023 Local Elections.
