Conservative Councillor for Waterhouse Farm
Alan Chambers has lived in Chelmsford for over 30 years. He is a director of his own Financial Services business and is well known within the town centre area. He is driven by the challenges of a changing society and is often asked to give advice on the financial issues relating to divorce, pension settlements and Court Orders.
Alan has played an active part in local affairs and he has spent the last year concentrating on the issues and problems raised by the people of Waterhouse Farm, he quotes: “I am keen to represent the interests of every resident in the ward, it is the people that matter, I am an advocate for the people of Waterhouse Farm, they speak, I listen and I act on their behalf”.
Alan is married, his wife Nicolette has been a Borough and City Councillor for eight years; Alan says “I am very fortunate to have a wife who has served the local community; Nicolette has inspired me to become more involved with the local people, to identify the needs of Waterhouse Farm and to work hard to achieve their goals and aspirations”.
Alan has two grown up children and a grandchild. He is a keen gardener and enjoys sport, particularly football.
