Conservative Councillor for Trinity Ward

Jean Murray

I have two grown up sons, one now living locally.  Over the last 12 years I have served as a Parish, Metropolitan District and City Councillor.  I have been a committee member on local town centre organisations:- CAB, YMCA and  a Governor of Trinity Road School.

My main interest is in health and the well being of children. I regularly attend and play an active role on Mid Essex Health and Scrutiny meetings and was also a Governor of Northern Counties College for young adults with cerebral palsy.

As a Ward Councillor I feel my most important role is to engage with the residents which I do on a regular basis, through attending Neighbourhood Action and Neighbourhood Watch meetings, Street Surgeries and personal visits.

You can contact Jean by email here.
