Conservative Councillor for Great Baddow

Bob Villa - Conservative Candidate for Great Baddow

My Name is Bob Villa, and I would like to introduce myself as a candidate to represent the West Ward of Great Baddow as a Borough Councillor.

I have lived in the neighbouring village of Galleywood for 26 years, married to Valerie with two grown up sons and six grand children. By profession, I am a retired Chartered Engineer and Company Director.

I have always been interested in the community and since moving to Galleywood from Shenfield Essex, I have been a school Governor, and currently I am Chairman of the Galleywood Common Association and Parish Council.

In my position as Chairman of Galleywood Parish Council, I have taken the lead role in two major projects; Greening Galleywood (bringing wild life into the heart of the village), and the refurbishment of the disused Council Depot on Galleywood Common to create a Heritage Centre for the community.

My involvement with the Parish Council for the last four years has given me a great insight to the activities and duties of a borough councillor.
