Stephanie moved to Essex when she was ten years old, leaving at twenty one to follow a Marketing career in London and returned to live in Chelmsford in February 2005. Stephanie and her husband, John have two daughters, aged 28 and 22.
In 1992, after her second daughter was born and was left with learning difficulties following a stroke, Stephanie devoted all of her time to caring for her daughter in her formative years and now works to support children and adults with both physical and mental disabilities including areas of Special Educational Needs.
Stephanie has been involved in local politics for many years working on:
- Cost-cutting policies on School Uniforms and Educational Trips, with Essex County Council and Chelmsford schools.
- Dealing with local crime, in particular, fraud – scams usually targeted at the vulnerable and the elderly.
