Conservative Candidate for Boreham and the Leighs Ward

John has lived in Boreham for thirty three years, is married to Jackie and they have two grown up children and two grandchildren. For twenty eight years he worked in banking for both Coutts and NatWest.

In July 2000 John was elected as Borough Councillor for Boreham and again in 2003 and 2007 for the reconstituted Boreham and The Leighs ward. He is currently Cabinet Member for Finance and Deputy Leader of the Council. A Parish Councillor for twenty two years, he is also Treasurer of St.  Andrew’s Church, Boreham and a member of the Neighbourhood Watch Committee as well as a school governor at Boreham Primary School.

John is interested in all sports. He is Chairman of Boreham Bowling Club and a member of the Carpet Bowls Club. In his spare time he enjoys reading and computers and has a passionate interest in all aspects of village life.
